I'm a science writer with a background in environmental science and wildlife conservation. I also hold a graduate degree in science communication from  UC Santa Cruz.

Before graduate school, I worked for the Environment & Sustainability program at the College of William & Mary, mostly on turtle conservation projects. In the photo on the left, I'm reporting on endangered frog egg relocations for The Mercury News.
